As a child, Marsha's mother paid for a session in oil painting. She painted a scene of a dogwood tree and its hanging flower basket. She struggled at the time, but the techniques she learned stayed with her until she started painting again years later as an adult in California. Since then she's been working on painting projects in between her other crafting hobbies
She feels she has a special ability to take a picture, or a real life scene and reproduce it on a canvas with her preferred medium; acrylic paints.
